Selective Nerve Root Injection
is a medical procedure used to diagnose and treat pain originating from a specific nerve root in the spine.
It is often performed by pain management specialists, orthopedic surgeons, or neurosurgeons and is commonly used in the evaluation and treatment of conditions such as
herniated discs, spinal stenosis, radiculopathy, and other spinal disorders that can cause nerve root compression or irritation.

 Barbotage Shoulder

is a medical procedure used to treat shoulder impingement syndrome and related conditions. Shoulder impingement syndrome occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff and the subacromial bursa (a fluid-filled sac) in the shoulder become pinched between the bones of the shoulder, causing pain, inflammation, and limited range of motion.

During a shoulder barbotage procedure, a doctor inserts a small needle into the space beneath the acromion (a bony projection of the shoulder blade) and above the rotator cuff tendons. The needle is used to aspirate (withdraw) fluid and any inflammatory substances from the subacromial bursa. This can help to reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms associated with shoulder impingement.

Sometimes, a saline solution or a corticosteroid medication may be injected into the subacromial space following the aspiration to further reduce inflammation and provide pain relief.
